Hi Case -- We're excited about this too -- the KWL dev team has been trying to replace a vacant front-end developer position, which will help us speed up this much desired upgrade.

The KWL development team is working on getting the Kobo Plus reads added to the KWL Dashboard. It'll likely be rolled out when the FREE TRACKING improvements are updated. (Please see this post regarding how FREE has been modified lately and the side-effect of seeing PREVIEWS also being captured in that - https://kobowritinglife.com/2017/08/09/kobo-writing-life-podcast-episode-88-five-strategies-for-using-free/)

In the meantime, the Kobo Plus reads will be reported to you via a separately emailed spreadsheet with reading details that comes from vsr@kobo.com (the same systematic finance email that sends you a sales report for any month where you have sales. IE, if you have sales the previous month, you get a regular Kobo Sales spreadsheet with sales details and $$ owed to your KWL account. Similarly, if you have Kobo Plus reads, you'll get a Kobo Plus Reads spreadsheet with details and $$ owed to your KWL account.

Those darn front-developers. Just kidding. I have received two Kobo Plus emails with stats. I'm not rich yet, but hoping to see this become another income stream for me.

Lots of changes in the industry since you and I first met. Hallmark is starting a publishing company and I've submitted a book. Of course, they require "squeaky clean." Nook wants to be the first to publish a book with exclusive rights for a time. I'm not doing exclusive and didn't read any farther. :o) The Kobo platform is so much better than Nook. I always have trouble uploading to them, and they still send payments to the wrong account - two years and counting. Apparently, they need more than one front-developer.

I truly think "clean" is the coming trend. I've changed all my books to include "clean" in the keywords, and they seem to be doing better than before, even in the dreaded month of August. Would love to see a clean category on Kobo some day - as if you have nothing better to do.

    Nice talking to you

Thanks for your patience on the dashboard update. Yes, we also see it as an additional revenue stream, and every single additional one helps!

Interesting notes, Marti. I've heard many authors talking about creating some parallel "clean" versions of their existing books to appeal to the demographic interested in the story with softer "language" and some revisions to more "racy" scenes.
